SOLUTION: When image data are input, a data transmission section 30 transmits the image data to a document management server 4 after addition of a signature thereto. A schedule setting section 32 specifies a schedule to acquire a time stamp to be added to the transmitted image data by referring to setting contents of a schedule storage section 42 or the like. At the scheduled time, a time stamp acquisition section 36 acquires the time stamp by reading a hash value generated and stored at the time of signing and sending a time stamp request. A time stamp addition instruction section 38 transmits the time stamp to the document management server 4, and instructs later addition of the acquired time stamp to the registered image data.
