    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development, capable of forming an image with less offset without using an impurity metal ion when a halftone image is fixed after forming a solid image in an oil-less fixing process, and to provide a method for producing the toner.
      SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development comprising at least a binder resin and a release agent and containing an amino acid and an oxy acid expressed by formula (1) is obtained by: mixing a resin fine particle dispersion liquid in which at least fine particles of a binder resin are dispersed, with a release agent dispersion liquid to which an amino acid and the oxy acid are added; aggregating the mixed liquid to form aggregated particles; and stopping the growth of the aggregated particles followed by heating the aggregated particles at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting temperature of the binder resin to fuse/unify the particles. In formula (1), n represents 1 to 8.
