      SOLUTION: The information display medium 10 is so constituted that an electrodes 12, 14 are put one over the other, and the electrode 12 is transparent. An optical switching element 40 and a display element 42 are provided between the electrodes 12 and 14, and an image which is visible from a void-arrow direction is displayed through the transparent electrode. The electrode 12 and electrode 14 are provided with terminals 16, 18 and terminals 20, 22, respectively. Voltage from the terminals 16, 18 is applied to the electrode 12, and voltage from the terminals 20, 22 is applied to the electrode 14. Even if the information display medium 10 is folded and the internal electrodes 12 and 14 are broken into two, the image can still be displayed. Since the pairs of terminals 16 and 18, and 20 and 22 are arranged on the diagonal or opposite sides of the electrodes 12 and 14, the information can be displayed on the entire area even if the electrodes are broken.
