    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure such as the deviation or the distortion of a lens caused by the expansion of air in a lens chamber formed between the lenses by forming a groove for ventilating between the lens chamber and the outside of the lens barrel on the inner peripheral surface of the lens barrel holding the lens. SOLUTION: The groove 52 in the optical axis direction is formed on the inner peripheral surface of a lens barrel main body 12 where plural lenses 14, 16 and 18 and distance rings 20 and 22 are disposed so as to ventilate between the lens chambers 54 and 56 between the respective lenses and the outside of the main body 12. Thus, when the respective lenses are attached in the main body 12, air resistance is reduced and the lens is easily attached. Even when temperature in the lens chamber rises and the air is expanded by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays in the case of attaching the lens 18 with ultraviolet curing adhesive, the lens does not receive strong pressure and the failure such as the float of the lens is prevented. Even when the air is expanded because of the temperature rise in the lens chamber due to a fire, etc., the deviation or the distortion of the lens is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stoppers from being damaged by excessive fastening and to extend the turning range of a casing for adjusting the position of a cable by providing a lens device with the stoppers whose surfaces abutting on each other by the rotation of the casing in a fitting direction are formed to be tapered. SOLUTION: When the casing is rotated in the fitting direction after the screw part of a mount ring 22 is adjusted to the lens mounting part of a camera main body, the ring 22 is rotated and screwed in the camera main body and the lens device 10 is mounted onto the camera main body. When the excessive rotational force in the mounting direction is transmitted to the ring 22 after the the ring 22 is mounted, this force F is dispersed in two directions being the direction F1 along the tapered surfaces 54A and 56A of the stoppers 54 and 56 and the direction F2 orthogonally crossing the tapered surfaces 54A and 56A. Thus, stress is not concentrated at the corner parts 54C and 56C of the base parts of the stoppers 54 and 56.

    • PURPOSE:To make a lens barrel common even among lenses having different element by providing a diaphragm device so that it can slide and move in an optical axis direction with respect to a lens barrel, pressing it in one direction by a pressing member, allowing it to slide and move against the pressing force by a presser member which can move with respect to the lens barrel and positioning it at a specified position corresponding to the lens. CONSTITUTION:When a front lens frame 22 is screwed in a lens barrel main body 24 in the case of attaching a front lens frame assembly 12, the rear end face 22A of the frame 22 abuts on the end face 30A of the diaphragm frame 30 of an iris diaphragm device 14. Then, the device 14 is pressed to the rear end face 22A, and slides and moves against the pressing force of a spring 40. When the frame 22 is positioned in the lens barrel main body 24, the device 14 is positioned at the specified position corresponding to the element of the lens 20 in a state where it is interposed between the frame 22 and the spring 40.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel by which respective component parts are surely fixed in the completed state of a product with the overlap quantity of snap fit to such an extent that the component parts are easily attached/detached and the component parts are prevented from falling off suddenly due to vibration or impact, etc., by fixing pawls for locking the component parts by the use of a component member assembled after assembling the component parts. SOLUTION: The hole 42A of the diaphragm bottom board 42 of a diaphragm device 40 is fit to the pawl 38 at the front end of a lens barrel main body 12, and the board 42 is locked on the main body 12 by the projection part 38A of the pawl 38. After assembling the board 42, a lens frame 46 is assembled, and an abutting part 46A formed on the frame 46 abuts on the back surface of the pawl 38. Thus, the pawl 38 is fixed and the device 40 is surely fixed in the main body 12. The frame 46 is locked on the pawl 48 and the pawl 48 is fixed by the inner peripheral surface of a cover 50 assembled thereafter. Thus, the frame 46 is also surely fixed in the main body 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mount member from being damaged by excessive fastening and to extend the turning range of a casing for adjusting the position of a cable, by providing a lens device with an energizing member whose energizing force is set so that the projection part of an interlocking member can get over the projection part of the mount member when rotational force in a mounting direction becomes over an allowable value after the mount member is fastened. SOLUTION: When the screw 22A of the mount ring 22 is rotated in the mounting direction of the casing 12 after it is adjusted to the lens mounting part 24A of a camera main body 24, the ring 22 is screwed in the main body 24 and the lend device 10 is mounted onto the main body 24. When the excessive rotational force in the fitting direction is transmitted to the interlocking ring 20 after the lens device 10 is mounted, the projection part of the ring 20 gets over the projection part of the ring 22 and runs off by resisting to the pressing force of a leaf spring. Thus, the rings 20 and 22 are prevent from being damaged by the excessive fastening.
