      SOLUTION: A protecting member 15 provided with an opening part 21 is arranged on the top-positioned photosensitive surface 10A of the bundle of photosensitive printing plates 10, and they are packed by a packing material 1 to be opened by eliminating one part thereof, and the packed one is placed on a storage shelf 160 for a paper sheet feeder 112 inside an automatic feeding device 110. A delivery means 164 pulls a lead part 11, which is pulled from one part of the packing material 12, to remove the one part of the packing material 12 to open. A delivery means 146 for the paper sheets feeder 112 separates one photosensitive printing plate 10 exposed inside the opening part 21 of the protecting member 15 for delivery.

      SOLUTION: A predetermined number of bundled photosensitive printing plates 10 are vacuum-packaged with a wrapping member 12 comprising a light-shielding and dampproof sheetlike material formed into a bag. Further, the printing plates 10 are prevented from shifting from one another to protect a photosensitive surface 10A from getting damaged by the vacuum-packaging. A cushioning member 14A placed to correspond to the entire surface 10A also protects the surface 10A against damage. In addition, the cushioning member 14A is unified with the wrapping member 12 to facilitate the positioning of the cushioning member 14A with the photosensitive surface in wrapping the predetermined number of bundled photosensitive plates 10 with the wrapping member 12.

Operation of the suction disks is stopped after the interleaving paper carrying unit 22 moves upward to lift and carry the interleaving paper 20 and printing plate 12, so that only the interleaving paper 20 is sucked by the interleaving paper carrying unit 22 and the printing plate 12 falls therefrom. Therefore, the interleaving paper 20 is surely separated from the printing plate 12 and is carried. After that, when the plurality of suction disks 38 carry the printing plate 12, the printing plate 12 is separated from the interleaving paper 20 and is carried in the good manner, since the printing plate 12 has been once separated from the lower-layer interleaving paper 20.

      SOLUTION: The development apparatus for a printing plate develops a printing plate by leaving an image recording layer (photosensitive film) cured by exposure while removing an unexposed portion not cured. The apparatus is equipped with: a rotary brush device to rub a printing plate to peel and remove an unexposed portion; and a carrying device to carry the printing plate to pass through at least the rotary brush device. The rotary brush device has a variable speed gear means which can switch between low-speed rotation and high-speed rotation.

      SOLUTION: A developing brush 18 is cleaned by blowing an air flow through a blowing port 16 of an air nozzle 14, in the tangential direction of the developing brush 18 (shown as white arrow in Figure), while development is carried out with the developing brush 18 in the tangential direction of the brush 18 so as to blow off development sludge deposited on the developing brush 18 with water. The blown air flow and the water containing the developing sludge flow in the side direction along a receptacle duct 12, that is, in the axial direction of the developing brush 18, and the air flow passes in the side, while the water containing the development sludge flows and falls, as water drops 24 from the side of the receiving duct 12 (as shown in a hatched arrow in Figure). Thus, the water containing the development sludge is prevented from dropping on the film surface of a PS plate 22 prior to the development.
