摘要： PURPOSE:To omit a pedestal and prevent a work from being hurt or interfered by circulating transfer bars beteen the first and second stop positions where the work is directly delivered to/from a chuck and the third stop position below where it is sheltered during machining. CONSTITUTION:A work 30 is conveyed by the shift of a pair of transfer bars 20, and when they are stopped at the machining position, an auxiliary center 76 and a center 24 are advanced and inserted into center holes at both ends of the work 30 to support it, then the transfer bars 20 are lowered based on the signal of a limit switch to be sheltered to a position not interfering with the work 30. Next, when the machining of the work 30 is over, it is cnveyed to above the transfer bars 20, the bars 20 are lifted via the signal of the limit switch, the center 24 and the auxiliary center 76 are retreated to deliver the work 30 to druggist's mortar sections 32 of the bars 20. Then, the bard 20 again convey the work 30 to the next machining position. Accordingly, a pedestal can be omitted and the work can be prevented from being hurt by chips or interfered.
