摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reducing device for a bridge, which can reduce a noise from the bridge by a lightweight sound insulator with high sound-insulating performance.
SOLUTION: Sound insulating boards 2, which are members for insulating a primary sound from the bridge 1, are installed in such a manner as to be arranged so as to close a lower opening 1i of the bridge 1. The noise reducing device 5 is a device for reducing a secondary sound generated by the board 2 when the board 2 is vibrated by the primary sound. The device 5 is equipped with a piezoelectric material 6 for converting vibrations, generated in the board 2, to an electric signal, and an electric circuit 8 for converting the electric signal to heat. When the board 2 is vibrated by the primary sound so that distortion of the board 2 can occur, an electromotive force is generated by the piezoelectric material 6. In this case, the electromotive force generated by the piezoelectric material 6 is consumed by resistance of the electric circuit 8 so as to be diffused as heat into air. Consequently, the vibrations of the board 2 are damped for a reduction in the secondary sound generated by the board 2.

Also, each resin layer is sprayed at a job site, therefore, it is worked to a seamless and unified film, and also a shape and a size of the inside surface can be changed by changing its thickness, and an acoustic characteristic of a purpose can be obtained easily.
