    • PURPOSE:To enable the tool replacement ahead of usage manufacturing by storing the life time of the tool, the accumulated time of tool application and the remaining time of life, writing the application time in each program and comparing the remaining time of life and the application time. CONSTITUTION:A nonvolatile 14, a manufacturing program 14a including the application time of a tool, tool life data 14b concerning tool life and remaining lifetime hours are stored in CPU. A display control circuit 16 converts the digital signal to the display signal and has a display 16a indicate an operator message on a tool which has the remaining lifetime hours less than the application hours before the manufacturing starts. An input/output circuit 23 receives and sends signals from and to external equipment and generates a tool replacement signal. In such constitution, the application hours of tools is compared with the remaining lifetime hours before the manufacturing starts, on account of which the tool replacement, if necessary, can be made before the manufacturing starts.

    • PURPOSE:To produce a program with no consciousness of the tool interference by shifting a tool with change of its path in case the path connecting the present position and the final arriving point of the tool passes through an inhibited area. CONSTITUTION:The information on an inhibited area 2 is prepared and it is checked whether a rectilinear path connecting the present position and the final arriving point of a tool 1 passes through the area 2 or not for each shift of a unit distance. If not, the tool 1 is moves along said rectilinear path. If so, the tool 1 is moved after its path is changed. Thus, it is possible to move the tool 1 by deciding its path excluding the area 2 without stopping the movement of the tool 1 even though the interference is detected to the area 2 in case such a tool 1 that has no meaning with its path itself like a cutting process, etc., is positioned.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately detect a position with high accuracy, by providing the position detection part mounted to a table and a pulse coder generating a pulse in a servo motor. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 1 drives a ball screw 2 and moves the table 4 fixed to the ball nut 3 threading with the screw 2. The detection part 5 of a linear scale is mounted on the table 4 and the signal detected by the detection part 5 with the movement of the table 4 is processed by the signal processing circuit 6 of the linear scale to output a detection pulse (a) from the circuit 6. The rotation detector 7 of a pulse coder is mounted on the motor shaft of a motor 1 and the signal detected by the detection part is processed in its wave form by the signal processing circuit 8 of the pulse coder and forward or reverse rotary pulses (b) corresponding to the rotary direction of the motor 1 is outputted. When the number of pulses equal to or more than the interpolation/division number between pulses are outputted from the pulse coder between the pulses outputted from the detection part 5, the position of the table 4 is corrected each time when a pulse is outputted from the detection part 5.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of damage due to a fault of a position control system for a numerical control processor, by deciding the normal/abnormal state of an LSI which forms a digital circuit part of the position control system before starting the working. CONSTITUTION:A constant numerical value A is delivered to a pulse distributor 15a of an LSI15 from a numerical control part 1 as soon as a power supply is applied to a numerical controller. At the same time, the value A is stored in a region 101 of an RAM1b. The distributor 15a executes a pulse operation based on the value A and produces the distributing pulse Pc to store it in an error register 15b. A control part 11 delivers the pulse distribution end signal DEN and stops the distribution of the pulse when A units of separate pulses Pc are produced. Then the part 11 reads an error Er stored in the register 15b and stores it in a region 102 of the RAM11b. Furthermore the part 11 compares the contents A of the regions 101 and 102 with the error Er. When a coincidence is obtained from the comparison, a power supply, the clock pulse, etc. are applied to the LSI15. The clear signal is not continuously applied to the LSI15. These facts are decided and then a numerical control process is started.
