摘要： PURPOSE:To attain energy-saving by conducting a cooling operation through the year for a part of a building and by conducting a cooling, heating or cooling-heating operation for another part thereof in accordance with seasons. CONSTITUTION:Cooling of a part of a building for which a cooling operation is conducted through the year is conducted by a natural circulation system utilizing a phase change of a refrigerant. Air-conditioning of a part of the building for which cooling, heating or cooling-heating is conducted in accordance with seasons is conducted by a multiple system for the building wherein one outdoor unit 3 and a plurality of indoor air-conditioning units 6a and 6b are connected by refrigerant pipings 10a, 10b, 11a and 11b. Condensation of refrigerant vapor evaporated by cooling of the part of the building for which the cooling operation is conducted through the year is conducted by a cold heat from a cold heat source device 1, and a cooling exhaust heat exhausted from this cold heat source device 1 is collected and used as a hot heat source in a heating operation of the outdoor unit 3. According to this constitution, energy- saving can be attained and also the energy can be used effectively.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain energy-saving by a method wherein condensation of refrigerant vapor obtained through heat exchange with indoor air is conducted by a cold heat supplied from a cold heat source device, while it is conducted by utilizing a temperature difference from low-temperature outdoor air in a cold time. CONSTITUTION:In a cooling operation in the summer period, refrigerant vapor obtained through heat exchange with indoor air by each of indoor units 4a and 4b is cooled down and condensed by a cold heat supplied from a cold heat source device 1. A refrigerant liquid thus obtained flows down under the gravity and returns to each of the indoor units 4a and 4b again and a cooling cycle based on natural circulation is repeated. In a cooling operation in a cold time such as the winter period, the refrigerant vapor obtained through the heat exchange with the indoor air is cooled down and condensed by the cold heat sent from the cold heat source device, in the same way as in the summer period, while it is cooled down and condensed by utilizing low-temperature outdoor air effectively. According to this constitution, energy can be used effectively and energy-saving can be attained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain reduction of a running cost and energy-saving by adopting a natural circulation system based on a phase change of a refrigerant for cooling of a building and by using an electric heater for heating thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cooling operation for a building is conducted by a natural circulation system wherein a refrigerant produced by an indoor cooling load is condensed by a cold heat sent from a cold heat source device 1 and a refrigerant liquid thus obtained is returned to each of indoor units 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b again under the gravity. In this case, the cold heat of the cold heat source device 1 is stored in an ice heat storage tank 1a by utilizing an inexpensive midnight power and used as cold water in the daytime. A heating operation for the building is conducted by electric heaters 5a and 5b incorporated in the indoor units 4a and 4b. According to this constitution, a running cost can be reduced and also energy-saving can be attained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible for an air-conditioning system to meet the demand for cooling and heating in a multistoried building as well, by cooling and heating indoor spaces by natural circulation of a refrigerant based on a phase change thereof. CONSTITUTION:Indoor units 5a and 5b of floors F1 and F2 have cooling and heating coils provided inside and are so designed that they can be used as cooling or heating units by selecting either one of the coils. The cooling coils are connected to corresponding heat exchangers 3a and 3b through cooling piping systems comprising refrigerant vapor pipes 10a and refrigerant liquid pipes 10b, respectively, while the heating coils are connected to corresponding heat exchangers 4a and 4b through heating piping systems comprising refrigerant vapor pipes 11a and refrigerant liquid pipes 11b, respectively. A refrigerant is sealed inside each of the cooling and heating piping systems and indoor spaces are cooled or heated by natural circulation of this refrigerant based on a phase change thereof. According to this constitution, an air-conditioning system can meet the demand for cooling and heating in a multistoried building as well.

The cold heat of the cold heat source device 1 is stored in a heat storage tank 1a in the night by utilizing an inexpensive midnight power. According to this constitution, energy-saving can be attained and also the energy can be used effectively.

An ascending speed of liquid surface within the evaporator 1 is slower than an ascending speed of the liquid surface of the auxiliary tank 3, a time in which a control valve 8 is opened is relatively extended and an amount of working liquid (a) moved under an opening or a closing operation of once at the control valve 8 is increased more, so that the motion cycle of the working liquid (a) is extended. With such an arrangement as above, a variation cycle of temperature of each of the evaporator 1 and the condensor 2 as well as a heat exchanging amount is also extended.

An auxiliary tank 3, which is made to communicate with the vaporizer 1 in the vapor phase and the liquid phase on the same level, is installed to the vaporizer 1. The adjustment tank 4 is made to communicate with the auxiliary tank 3. In this case, the liquid level is detected at the auxiliary tank 3.
