    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect whether the fitting force of a female terminal in a connector housing maintains a specified value or not by investing a detection pin provided with a male terminal fitted to the female terminal with a force stronger than the specified male terminal insertion force of the female terminal and a force weaker than the specified male terminal extraction force. SOLUTION: A seating 90 is moved forward via a link 62 by throwing a lever 61 of a moving mechanism 60, and a male terminal 51 provided on a detection pin 50 is inserted into a female terminal 10. A force stronger than the specified male terminal insertion force of a female terminal 10 is imparted to the detection pin 50 by a male terminal insertion elastic member 70. The lever 61 is returned so as to move the seating 90 backward. A force weaker than the specified male terminal extraction force of the female terminal 10 is imparted to the detection pin 50 by a male terminal extraction elastic member 80. Thereby, the fitting force of the female terminal 10 can be easily inspected by detecting whether or not the male terminal 51 can be inserted into the female terminal 10, and whether or not the male terminal 51 inserted into the male terminal 10 is extracted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically, easily, and efficiently supply connectors in a specified attitude to the next process. SOLUTION: A connector elevating mechanism 9 for raising a connector receiving member 7 waited in an outlet 4a of a hopper 4 to a connector orientation selecting position 8 is installed. A first connector orientation selecting means 13 which allows a connector 1 on a connector receiving member 7 to pass if the connector 1 is in a specified attitude but not to pass if it is not in a specified attitude; a second connector orientation selecting means 14 which inspects whether the top of the connector 1 is on a specified side or not when the connector 1 passed through the first connector orientation selecting means 13 is supplied; and a connector sending operation means 16 which brings the connector 1 back to the hopper 4 if the top of the connector 1 within the second connector orientation selecting means 14 is not oriented in a specified direction, but sends the connector 1 to the next process if it is oriented in a specified direction are installed in the connector orientation selecting position 8.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and reliably cover a shield material or the like, and to enhance production efficiency by wrapping a wire in a cross-sectional U-shape with a covering material while moving both end parts along a held wire, and sticking opposed both sides of the covering material together. SOLUTION: Both end parts of a wire is sandwiched by the chuck parts of fixed side/movable side twist devices 11, 12, and the wire is held by prescribed tensile force by properly moving the base part 12b. A twist wire is formed by rotating the chuck parts of the fixed side/movable side twist devices 11, 12 in the mutually opposite direction. The end part of shield foil is pulled out of the foil housing part 22s, and is placed on the upper surface of the foil rising part 24 and the foil start end sticking part 25 to be raised by a prescribed distance. When the twist wire is pushed down by lowering a wire pressure roller 27, the shield foil becomes a U-shape by sandwiching the twist wire since both end parts are bent upward by the pressing down parts 25a, 25b, so that a foil sticking roller 26 moves to stick both end parts of the foil together. Therefore, productivity is enhanced by performing a process up to covering from the twist wire by a single device.
