摘要： PURPOSE:To connect armouring wires with equal tensile force without enlarging outside diameter of the cable, by welding a bolt with the same diameter as that of the armouring wire having left-handed screw at one end and right-handed screw at the other to the opposite ends of the armouring wires, and by screwing down a turnbuckle fit for this screw. CONSTITUTION:To armouring wires 10 bolts 11a and 11b are welded whose diameters are the same as that of the armouring wires 10. In the bolts 11a and 11b welded to the armouring wires 10 facing each other to be connected, one is of left-handed screw and the other is of right-handed screw, with the direction of reads being opposite. A turnbuckle 12 is screwed down between the facing armouring wires 10, of which the directions of threads at both ends are opposite. Thus, with the quantity of rotation and the direction of a bar nut 12, the tensile force of the connected armouring wires 10 can be adjusted.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate crane operation when a cable is sunk to water bottom and to protect the cable from damage by arranging a buoy at a joint. CONSTITUTION:The joint 12 of an a subaqueous cable 11 is mainly composed of a joint core 13 including power lines and communication lines connected each other, an anchor metal 14 and a tension member 15, where a buoy 16 is covering the outer circumference of the joint 12. The buoy 16 has a double cylinder buoyant tank comprising a buoy 16, an inner tube 17, an outer tube 18 and an end plate 19, where a reinforcing pole 20 is arranged between the inner and outer tubes 17, 18. Since buoyancy is provided at the joint 12 of a subaqueous cable 11 through the buoy 16, weight in the water at the joint 12 of the subaqueous cable 11 is approximately equal to that of other sections and thereby the cable sinks smoothly without requiring crane operation, resulting in improvement of workability and prevention of damage.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient connection strength by a force acting in the axis line direction by installing a circular plate having a pin projecting on the inner surface into the pin hole at the part of the pipe by the fitting of the pin and pressing the rear edge surface of the circular plate by a cylindrical tightening member having a stage part on the inner surface. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pin holes 21 are formed in dispersion in the circumferential direction at the edge parts of the plastic pipes 11A and 11B which are to be connected. A circular plate 22 having a pin 23 projecting on the inner surface is installed on the outer periphery at the edge parts of the pipes 11A and 11B, fitted in the pin hole 21. Outside the direction plate 22, the tubular tightening members 27A and 27B having each stage part 28 engaged with the rear edge surface of the circular plate 22 are joined by a screw part 29, and the rear edge surface of the circular plate 22 is tightening-fixed so as to press the pipes 11A and 11B in the axis line direction. Accordingly, a connection part having the high reliability can be obtained easily.
