    • PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a microcomputer considerably, by transmitting a synchronizing signal to the highway of a time division converter before transmitting a data signal and by not accessing a data processing device until receiving of data of one section is terminated. CONSTITUTION:When having data to be transmitted to a highway 10, a microcomputer 1 controls an interface adapter 2 to set 8-bit data. The adapter 2 generates a bit string where a synchronizing signal and a parity bit are added to this data. This pluse train is transmitted to the highway 10 through a multiplexer 3 for every time slot indicated by a control circuit 5. Meanwhile, a demultiplexer 4 extracts the pulse train on a highway 11 for every time slot designated by the control circuit 5; and after the synchronizing signal is detected by inversion of the normal state in the adapter 2, the parity check and the read of the data signal are performed.

Data is received by the same operation for every time slot T0.
