摘要： PURPOSE:To clean the optical connector end surface of a box-shaped unit from the front surface easily and securely by providing a pipe which can be rotated at the front side where it faces the optical connector on a guide plate in the same shape with a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION:The pipe 15 is supported rotatably on the bearing frame 16 of the guide plate 10 in the same shape with the printed circuit board; one end surface of the pipe 15 faces the optical connector 14 and the other end is rotated from the front side. When the optical connector is cleaned, a cotton swab 17 is fitted atop of the pipe 15 and the guide plate 10 is inserted, and the pipe 15 is rotated with a handle 19 to clean ferrule end surfaces. Further, a gas spray 20 or suction pump 21 is fitted to a pipe 18 and foreign matter on the ferrule end surface is blown away or sucked to clean the end surface. Consequently, a box- shaped optical connector installed far inside is cleaned up from the front surface easily and securely.

摘要： PURPOSE:To fasten surely an optical connector with an easy operation by providing an elastic sleeve in a guide hole to which a guide pin is fitted. CONSTITUTION:A housing 15 which holds one ferrule 10 through an alignment sleeve 12 and an adapter 13 is provided with guide pins 17, and a housing 16 which holds the other ferrule 11 through an adapter 14 is provided with guide holes 18 to which guide pins 17 are inserted. An elastic sleeve 19 is provided in a part of each guide hole 18, and the inside diameter of the sleeve 19 is slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the guide pin 17 and slits 20 are formed on the sleeve 19 in the axial direction. The force which clamps pins 17 when they are inserted overcomes the force with which housings 15 and 16 are separated from each other by ferrule butting springs 21 and 22, and housings 15 and 16 are stuck to each other.

摘要： PURPOSE:To economically construct a test system by connecting thin clad wave guide members to individual optical station cables and an optical test cable connected to an optical line test device for optical coupling, with proximity arrangement. CONSTITUTION:Signals of multiple optical station cables 3 are extracted by an optical test cable 12 to test an optical line. A thin clad wave guide member 10 with the clad layer thickness on one face of an optical wave guide path constituted of a core section and a clad section thin by the certain length is connected to each cable 3. A cable 12 connecting a connecting/selecting thin clad wave guide member 11 to an optical line test device 8 is arranged near it to face it for optical coupling between the cables 3, 12. The member 11 is rearranged with the other member 10. The coupling function of the cables 3, 12 and the line selecting function are obtained merely by the proximity arrangement and rearrangement of the members 10 11 only the member 10 is required to be connected to each cable 3, and an optical line test system 7 can be economically constructed.
