摘要： PURPOSE:To provide contact pins in which a given contact pressure can be obtained with the contact region of a contact spring always fixed, and the production of resin powder is eliminated even insertion and extraction are repeated when the contact pins are inserted in a through hole. CONSTITUTION:This contact pin is composed of a resin-made pin main body consisting of a conical tip part, a small-diameter shaft, and a large-diameter grip part; and a contact spring B composed of actually cylindrical spring material having a length slightly shorter than that of the shaft, provided coaxially to the shaft in its periphery, and forming an axis direction cut part 4 on a side. The cross section shape of the contact spring B is an elliptical shape having a pair of symmetric projections 11 and 12 on a long diameter orthogonal to a short diameter passing the cut part 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a desired contact force between the internal circumferencial plane of the through hole of MDF matrix board and a contact pin even if the internal stress of a contact spring is made smaller by improving the shape of the contact spring. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a contact pin is made of resin and comprises a conical tip end 1, a small-diameter shaft 2, and a large-diameter holding part 3. A contact spring B, which is a little shorter than the shaft 2, is provided along the circumference of the shaft 2 coaxially, and comprises a cylindrical spring device having a cut opening 4 on the side in the axial direction. The contact spring B has three protrusions 11, 11', and 12 extending in the axial direction at the positions positionally relating to the cut opening 4. This constitution can make the internal of the contact spring half compared with the conventional one, use materials of so much less elastic limit, and lessen the height and thickness so as to realize cost reduction.

摘要： PURPOSE: To facilitate the release of a lock and improve mounting efficiency by having a built-in lock release mechanism in a connector. When an extracting tab 5 is pulled in the direction of an arrow sign P by fingers or the like, the lock release slant 8 of the slide member 4 coupled therewith pushes down the slant face 3a of the lock engaging dowel 3 of the resilient plug side connector cover 2 so that the lock engaging dowel 3 is made to escape from the lock engaging window 7 toward inside to release lock. When the extracting tab 5 is continuously pulled in the direction of the arrow sign P after the release of the lock, a plug side connector is finally uncoupled from a receptacle side connector.
