    • PURPOSE:To simplify the multi-address communication to subscribers more than the number of abbreviated dial registration contracts by performing successively the abbreviated dial registration and the multi-address communication for each abbreviated dial registration contact by a facsimile exchange through a facsimile terminal. CONSTITUTION:The address numbers of multi-address communication larger than the number of contracts which are inputted by an operator of a facsimile terminal 20 are stored in an address number memory 22. An abbreviated dial registration control part 23 sends the address numbers equal to the number of abbreviated dial registration contracts stored in the part 22 to a facsimile exchange 1. The exchange 1 registers the received address numbers to its own memory. When this registration is over, a multi- address communication control part 27 transmits the picture informatuon from a picture information control part 28. When the transmission of picture information is over, the part 23 extracts the address numbers equal to the number of abbreviated dial registration contracts out of the remaining address numbers stored in the part 22 in the same process as mentioned above and registers them to the exchange 1. Then the part 27 is actuated to perform the multi-address communication in the same process as mentioned above. Thus it is possible to perform the multi-address communication to all address numbers by repeating the above processes.

When the subscriber 10 agrees with them, a central controller 7 sets a channel 14 to connect the subscriber 14 and the subscriber 10 and to start the charging. If the subscriber rejects the receiving, the controller 7 releases the connection.

    • PURPOSE:To track a calling subscriber automatically even between different telephone exchanges by transferring information, which contains the number of a called subscriber and calling-subscriber tracking display, to a high-priority ladder repeater station and by making a comparison with the calling-party-subscriber's number of a calling subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When a person in charge of maintenance registers on a typewriter TYP the telephone number of a subscriber SUBB who is to track a calling subscriber, an exchange EL2 wherein the SUBB is equipped transmits the telephone number of the SUBB and a calling-subscriber tracking indication signal to a high- priority ladder repeater station ET. The repeater station ET registers the received information in a storage device MEM. As a subscriber SUBA sends a call signal, the CPU (CC2) of the repeater station ET makes a comparison between the telephone number of a party subscriber sent from an exchange EL1 and that of the SUBB stored in the device MEM. When the comparison result shows cnincidence, tracking operation is started and the repeater station ET requests the exchange station EL1 to send the calling-subscriber's number, thereby sending the stbscriber's number, of the SUBA to the exchange station EL2.
