    • PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid crystal panel having an excellent contrast and visual angle characteristics by using perpendicularly oriented films and composing these oriented films of fine printing patterns of orienting materials. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal panel is provided with a pair of transparent substrates 12, 14 sealed with liquid crystals 10 and is provided with transparent pixel electrodes 20 and the perpendicularly oriented film 22 on the inside surface of the one substrate 12 and color filters 24, transparent common electrodes 26 and the perpendicularly oriented film 28 on the inside surface of another substrate 14. The micro-region corresponding to one pixel is divided to domains A, B varying in the visual angle characteristics by 180 deg.. The films 22, 28 are formed as two layers of orienting material layers 22a-22b, 28a-28b and the layers 22a, 28a on the lower layer side are printed solid. The layers 22b, 28b on the upper layer side are printed in the fine patterns corresponding to the domains A, B. The layers 22a, 28a and 22b, 28b are so subjected to orientation treatments that the pretilts of the liquid crystal molecules in contact therewith change. As a result, the damage of the ground substrate and the roughening of the traces of the rubbing do not arise and, therefore, the effect of the division in the orientation is sufficiently manifested.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal panel with which the transmitted light quantity is made nearly equal without changing the thickness of a liquid crystal layer in each region of respective colors. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal display device has two substrates 35, 36 which are two parallel arranged substrates 30A, 30B and one substrate of which is delineated with two regions varying in the peak wavelength of transmitted light, electrodes 32, 33 which are respectively formed on the surfaces of these two substrates 35, 36 and impress electric fields independently on the two regions of the space held therebetween, oriented films 37, 38 which are formed on the surfaces on the opposite surface sides of the two substrates 35, 36, the liquid crystal layer 31 which is held by the two substrates 35, 36 and a voltage impressing means for impressing voltages on the electrodes 32, 33. The oriented films 37, 38 are subjected to orientation treatments in such a manner that twist angles varying from each other are imparted on the liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer 31 in the two regions. The voltage impressing means impresses the voltages of the magnitude varying from each other on the electrodes 32, 33 for impressing the electric fields respectively on the two regions. The magnitude of the voltages is so selected that the contrast ratio in the two regions is made more uniform than when the equal voltage is impressed on the electrodes.

    • PURPOSE:To supply a method for manufacturing a color filter which dissolves colored resins only interposed in a prescribed region at the time of transfer in a color liquid crystal display device which incorporates a color filter in which respective dots display colors corresponding to R, G and B. CONSTITUTION:A heating head 6 which is provided with plural exothermic resistors 62 and a partition wall 66 surrounding each exothermic resistor 62 on the colored ink-coated surface is used. The colored ink 5 being dissolved by heating is directly applied on the heating head 6 to an approximately uniform thickness in the coating process. In the transfer process, a glass substrate 1 is adhered closely with the colored ink 5, and simultaneously, the exothermic resistors 62 are selected and energized so that the colored ink 5 dissolved by heat generation of the exothermic resistors 62 and stuck on the glass substrate 1 is detached from the heating head 6 together with the glass substrate 1.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna switching type diversity reception circuit where power consumption of a power source is little and the isolation of an antenna for both of transmission and reception and an exclusive antenna for reception can be sufficiently taken. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is provided with a synchronizing circuit showing the resistance of the value which is equal to the matching impedance of a shared device for transmission and reception when the reception circuit is synchronized with the frequency band of a reception signal on the side of the input of each transistor for amplification of two amplifier circuits 3 and 4 and a switching circuit d turning ON/OFF each power source (+5V) of the amplifier circuits by the control signals c1 and c2 of a changeover switch 5. When an antenna 1 for both of transmission and reception is used for a reception, the power source of the amplifier circuit is turned ON and when the antenna is not used for reception, the power source of the amplifier circuit is turned OFF.
