    • PURPOSE:To obtain a type body of high quality by such an arrangement wherein a heat preserving means is provided between a type molding unit and type holder molding unit in a metal mold for molding a type body and a type face is molded while a difference in temperature is maintained between those units. CONSTITUTION:A heater 5 is provided to correspond to the arrangement of type molding units 3, and in a lower mold 9, a heat pipe 7 is provided for cooling type holder molding units 4. Molding material injected through an injection hole 6 passes through molding units 4 cooled by the heat pipe 7 and flows into the type molding unit 3. Molding material reached the molding units 3 is processed at a high temperature and formed into a type element 1 of high density and molding material injected into the molding units 4 is processed at low temperature and formed into a type holder element which is less in deformation, distortion, warping, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of a treating soln. into a non-plating region part and to perform partial plating at a low cost by immersing only the plating region of an object to be plated covered with the non-plating region into the plating soln. thereby plating the same. CONSTITUTION:A motor 8 is coupled via a shaft 7 fitted with a plating article 5 above a plating soln. cell 1, and an electric power source E is connected to the other. A jig disposing a cathode 4 togehter with the motor 8 is provided to the shaft 7, and the article 5 having covers 6, 6 is fitted and set to the shaft 7 by means of said jig. Next, only the plating region part of the article 5 is immersed in a plating soln. 2, and the shaft 7 is rotated in an arrow direction by the revolution of the motor 8. As a result, the article 5 fitted to the shaft 7 is rotated at the same time, and during this time, the part requiring plating is plated. At this time, the entry of the soln. 2 into the part requiring no plating in the non- plating region is prevented by centrifugal force of revolution.
