    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decolorizing processing from being insufficiently executed with respect to a medium by detecting the temperature change of a power thermistor and judging the discontinuity of a lamp according to the detected result. SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether the temperature of a decolorizing processing part detected by a temperature sensor 44 is equal to or under the minimum value of processing optimum temperature or not when the supply of an AC power source to the halogen lamps 28 and 30 is ON-state. When it is under the minimum value, the decolorizing processing is executed while keeping up the ON-state of the lamps. Besides, it is judged whether the temperature of the decolorizing processing part arrives at the maximum value of the processing optimum temperature(Tmax) or not. When it becomes equal to or over Tmax, the ON/OFF control of the lamps is executed. By such control, the lamps are returned to be the normal ON-state when the temperature of the decolorizing processing part becomes the minimum value of the processing optimum temperature again. Thus, the discontinuity states of the power source lamps for decolorizing can be detected even when the decolorizing processing part is set under a high-temperature environment.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a circuit to be protected by a method wherein a power supply line for the circuit to be protected is cut automatically when the circuit is connected to an AC power supply having a high voltage higher than a predetermined voltage. CONSTITUTION:When the input terminals 1a, 1b of a rectifier 1 are connected to an AC power supply, whose voltage exceeds a predetermined level, the DC voltage between output terminals 1c, 1d exceeds a predetermined voltage whereby a first switching transistor 3 is put ON and an electric current, being conducted through a second switching transistor 8, flows through the first switching transistor 3. As a result, the second switching transistor 8 is put OFF and the exciting of a circuit 100 to be protected is stopped. According to this method, the breakage of the circuit 100 to be protected can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To perform protection from both overvoltage and overcurrent by the use of a small number of parts in such manner that when a voltage generated by a detection winding exceeds a certain value, an electric current flows through a voltage regulation diode and a thyristor ignites to short-circuit the base input of a switching transistor. CONSTITUTION:An overvoltage is detected by a detection winding 1 provided on the primary side of a transformer T, and is rectified by a diode 2. When a rectified value exceeds the Zener voltage of a Zener diode 4, an electric current flows and a thyristor 3 ignites to short-circuit a starting current to the base of a switching transistor Q so that said transistor Q is stopped from oscillation. Because a voltage generated by a detection winding becomes higher in proportion to a load current, the subject circuit functions also as an overcurrent protective circuit so that said overcurrent protective circuit provided heretofore at the emitter of said switching transistor Q is made useless.
