    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device to response to vibration all in horizontal directions, reduce height even during adaptation to a structure, stably support a structure even when an occupying area is not so wide, and besides reduce a cost and simplify constitution, and to provide a base isolation structure using the base isolation structure. SOLUTION: This base isolation device comprises a pendulum type base isolation mechanism 4 located between lower and upper bases 2 and 3 and having a roller 35 serving as an operation element; a lower bearing mechanism 6 located between the lower base 2 and the base isolation mechanism 4 such that the base isolation mechanism 4 is arranged in a horizontal plane based on the lower base 2 and rotation in a direction A around a rotary axis 5 crossing orthogonally to the horizontal plane is practicable; and an upper bearing mechanism 7 located between the base isolation mechanism 4 and the upper base 3. A vertical shaft 42 passing through the rolling axis 41 of the roller 35 during non-operation is positioned eccentrically from the rotary axis 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of lightening weight, facilitating conveyance and installation, capable of omitting a cutting process required for many hours and labor, and capable of attaining reduction of a cost. SOLUTION: A base isolation device 1 is provided with a lower shoe 4 having a lower side slide surface 2 of circular arc recessed sectional shape toward the upward to be fixed to a substructure 3, upper shoe 7 having an upper side slide surface 5 of circular arc recessed sectional shape toward the downward to be fixed to a supperstructure 6, and a slide lower surface 8 having curvature equal to that of the lower side slide surface 2 of the lower shoe 4 to be abutted slidably to the lower side slide surface 2, and the device is provided with a slide upper surface 9 having curvature equal to that of the upper side slide surface 5 of the upper shoe 7 to be abutted slidably to the upper side slide surface 5, and the device is equipped with a slide unit 10 interposed between the lower/upper shoes 4, 7. The lower shoe 4 is equipped with a lower plate- shaped member 21 and a lower side filling body 22, and the upper shoe 7 is equipped with an upper plate-shaped member 31 and a lower side filling body 32.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting and removing work by contacting the circumferential surface of laminated rubber between both up and down flanges of an intermediate fire resistive frame device, and contacting both up and down end faces respectively to the lower and upper end faces of upper and lower fire resistive frame devices in a slidable manner in the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: Vibration of an upper construction 175 caused by earthquake, etc., is damped to protect a lower construction 176 from earthquake, and a base isolation device 1 is returned by operation of a laminated rubber body 13 to return also an intermediate fire resistive frame device 8. The laminated rubber body 13 is protected from flame, heat to the laminated rubber body 13 is prevented to avoid the destruction by fire and deformation of a rubber layer 14, and the upper construction 175 is borne. Horizontal displacement of the upper and lower fire resistive frame devices 4 and 6 to the intermediate fire resistive frame device 8 is approximately 1/3 of relative displacement to the lower construction 176 of the upper construction 175. For that purpose, horizontal widths of collars 36 and 86 and both up and down collars 122 and 123 are reduced, and distance between the circumferential surface of the laminated rubber body 13 and them is shortened. By the constitution, the lightweight fire resistive frame devices 4, 6 and 8 are obtained, and mounting and removing work of a fire resistive device 2 can be easily carried out.
