    • PURPOSE:To suppress coupling currents tending to flow to metallic ground at AC application, to decrease AC loss, and to enable the content of magnetic elements to be adjusted by providing plural storage parts in parent material so as to make the metallic ground wherein superconductive filament are dispersed and arranged contain magnetic elements. CONSTITUTION:Long parent material 10 which consists of material that contains at least one element among plural elements constituting a superconductive intermetallic compound and wherein storage part 11 such as grooves are formed in the length direction is prepared, and core materials 12 which contains one or more kinds of elements among magnetic elements such as Fe, Ni, Cr, Mn, etc., are set in these storage parts 11 so as to form a compound substance 13. After collecting these compound substances 13 in plural numbers, processings of reducing the diameter are done required times so as to form an element wire 20, and a plated layer 20a consisting of residual elements among elements constituting an intermetallic compound is formed around this element wire 20, and further diffusion heat treatment is applied so as to generate a superconductive intermetallic compound. Hereby, coupling currents at AC application is suppressed, and also by adjusting the size and the number of core materials to be set the additive amounts of magnetic elements can be adjusted whereby a superconductive cable excellent in characteristics can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To make the cable excellent in stabilization of superconductive characteristics, to make it small in AC coupling loss at AC current application, and to enable miniaturization and lightening by compounding stabilizing material made of pure copper in a superconductive cable, and making metallic ground where superconductive fibers are dispersed and arranged contain magnetic elements. CONSTITUTION:A diffusion preventive layer 11 is arranged around stabilizing material 10 made of copper so as to form a compound substance 12, and a plurality of insitu-rods which contain magnetic elements in metallic ground wherein dendrites of at least one element among plural elements which constitute a superconductive intermetallic compound are dispersed are arranged outside this compound substance 12. Further, those are covered with a metallic pipe 14, and then the diameter is reduced so as to make an element wire 15, and a plated layer 16 which contains residual elements among plural elements which constitute the superconductive intermetallic compound is formed around this element wire 15 so as to form a plated element wire 17. Next, diffusion heat treatment is applied to this plated element wire 17, whereby the elements of the plated layer 16 are diffused into the element wire so as to generated superconductive fibers. Hereby, a superconductive cable which is excellent in stability of superconductive characteristics and is miniaturized and lightened as well can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To stably manufacture the title material having high critical temp. by surrounding the outer circumference of the core material in an Ag-X alloy, subjecting it to wire drawing and heating and diffusing an X element in an Ag-X alloy into Nb. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing an Nb3X (X denotes Al or Ga) superconducting material, a core material 10 made of an Ag-X alloy is inserted into an Nb pipe 11 and Cu or alloy 12 such as Cu-Ni and Cu-Be is gave off around its outer circumference to form a composite body 13, which is thereafter subjected to reduction by swaging, etc., to manufacture a primary element wire 14. The plurally assembled above element wires 14 are inserted into a pipe body 15 prepd. by Cu, Cu-Ni, Cu-Be, etc., and are subjected to reduction once more to prepare a secondary element wire 16. The plural above element wires 16 are inserted again into a pipe body 17 made of a Cu-Ni alloy and are subjected to reduction into a composite body 18. The secondary element wires 16 furthermore assembled are inserted into a diffusion- prevention pipe 19 made of Ta or Nb and its outer circumference is furthermore coated with a coating pipe 20 made of pure copper, which is reduced into the final diameter to form a wire rod 21. The wire rod 21 is heated to 600 to 1000 deg.C in an inert gas to diffuse X in the Ag-X alloy into Nb, by which the Nb3X super conducting wire rod A having high critical temp. can be manufactured.
