    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure specified stiffness and strength even when a paper is made light-weight, and improve the hard copy device adaptability, and the printing machine adaptability or the like by a method wherein a polyacrylamide based copolymer of which the weight average molecular weight is within a specified range, is added to paper stock. SOLUTION: In a printing-writing paper which is used for copying machines, facsimiles and digital printing machines, a polyacrylamide based copolymer of which the weight average molecular weight Mw is in a range of one million to five million, is added to the paper stock. Such a copolymer is preferable to be cationic one having a branched crosslinking structure or a graft structure, or one which is amphoteric. Also, the density of a paper to be made is set in a range of 0.40-0.85 g/cm , and the basic weight of the paper is set in a range of 30-60 g/m respectively. Then, such a printing information paper is manufactured in such a manner that after adding a filler and an internally added sizing agent in a raw material preparing process, the paper is made by adding the polyacrylamide based copolymer.

    • PURPOSE:To improve adhesion property of toner picture images and embossing resistance by forming an image-receiving layer containing a polyester resin and chain-type colloidal silica and having specified surface resistance. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving layer 12 is formed on the surface of a transparent film 11. The image receiving layer 12 contains chain-type colloidal silica and polyester, and the colloidal silica is a dispersion liquid of fine particles of silica acid anhydride in water or an org. solvent such as alcohol. As for the colloidal silica, water-dispersion colloidal silica (silica sol) or org. solvent- dispersion colloidal silica is well-known. The fine particles of the water dispersion colloidal silica are stabilized with cation such as sodium ion. The org. solvent-dispersion colloidal silica is prepared by hydrophobidizing the surface of particles with hydroxyl groups and dispersing the particles in an org. solvent. The image receiving layer 12 has 1X10 -1X10 OMEGA (at 25 deg.C 65% RH) surface electric resistance. If the resistance is less than 1X10 OMEGA, the obtd. toner image has low density, and if the resistance exceeds 1X10 OMEGA, dust easily deposits.
