    • PURPOSE:To complete an optional dowel during the exercise of a dowel function by a timer which operates for a specified time when receiving a command for dowel execution from a CPU and a means which commands the end of a dowel externally. CONSTITUTION:A dowel command is set previously by using a tape 5, variable nonvolatile memory 7, etc., or indicated externally by MD16 at every time. A CPU1 when receiving the dowel generates the timer T for the specified time in a volatile memory 3 through a bus 9. The CPU1 stops motors 4-1, 4-2... through the bus 9 and also puts the time T in counting-down operation; when the timer T counts down to 0, the motors 4-1, 4-2... are put in operation again and the exercise of the dowel function is completed. When a dowel end signal turns on before the timer T finishes operating, the CPU1 performs the processing for a dowel end. Thus, an optional dowel is completed during the exercise of the dowel function.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the cam machining to be performed without causing any necessity for reproducing a machining instruction program when the diameter of a glinding wheel is changed by wearing or the like, by constituting a device so that the cam and the wheel are relatively moved. CONSTITUTION:In the cam machining method, in which a cam and a wheel are relatively moved in accordance with a machining instruction program, given coordinate values (l1, theta1) of a point group on a moving passage in the center of the wheel input from a tape reader 10 or the like, by polar coordinates, the coordinate values (l1, theta1) of the point group given by the polar coordinates in the first converting meana 11 is converted into coordinate values (x1, y1) of right angle crossing coordinate system, and a tool diameter is corrected on the basis of the coordinate values (x1, y1) obtained by the means 11 in a tool diameter correcting means 12 and the correction amount from an repair means 13. In such way, when a diameter of the wheel is changed by wearing or the like, the cam machining can be performed without causing any necessity for reproducing a machining instruction program.

      CONSTITUTION: When a command program is read from a command tape 11, a command is inputted to a normal processing part 16 to execute the NC processing if the command is a normal command. If the command is a user macro calling instruction, a discriminating circuit 15 calls a pertinent user macro from a user macro register memory 14, and it is inputted to a user macro processing part 17 to perform a prescribed user macro procesing.
