SOLUTION: The hemostatic wound dressing utilizes a fibrous, fabric substrate. The fabric substrate is made from a biocompatible polymer suitable for use in the body and contains a first surface and a second surface opposing the first surface, The fabric has flexibility, strength and porosity effective for use as a hemostat, and further has a porous, polymeric matrix distributed on the first and second surfaces and through the fabric substrate. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bandage for injury which achieves excellent hemostatic and antibacterial performances equal or superior to a conventional hemostatic bandage for injury having carboxylated cellulose as a base material and/or is made compatible with various substances sensitive to acid, and an improved method for preparing the bandage. SOLUTION: The bandage for injury is made of carboxylated cellulose and utilizes a support made of a fibrous fabric containing a first surface portion and a second surface portion on the side opposite to the first surface portion. The fabric has a soft touch, strength and porosity for effective usage as a hemostatic material. Moreover, the fabric has a certain porous polymer base material which is distributed substantially evenly in each of the first and second surface portions and thereinside, and the porous polymer base material is produced from a certain biocompatible, water-soluble or water swelling cellulose polymer.
