    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the positioning of the top board 13 for the top board bearing member 17.
      SOLUTION: In the sink unit, a wood based reinforcing material 32 is mounted on the undersurface of a decorative board 29 by a means of bonding or the like. The wood-based reinforcing material 32 is not applied onto the part facing the top board bearing material 17 and the part without the wood-based reinforcing material 32 is given a hollow 36 into which the top board bearing material 17 is fitted. The top board 13 is placed on the top board bearing material 17 so that the top board bearing material 17 is fitted into the hollow 36 and a screw 37 is fitted being screwed into the wood-based reinforcing material 32 through a through hole formed in a mounting piece 23 thereby fixing the top board 13 on the top board bearing material 17.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification system easily and surely checking the safety of an elderly person living alone or the like at a low cost.SOLUTION: The notification system includes: activity detecting means 10 for detecting living activities of an inhabitant in a residence H; and a telephone communicator 20 to which the activity detecting means 10 is connected. The telephone communicator 20 is configured to automatically notify to a notification destination fixed telephone and a cellular phone via a fixed telephone line TL. The activity detecting means 10 comprises a sensor electrode formed from an aluminum tape, and a capacitive sensor including a detector 13 on which a capacitance detection circuit is mounted, the capacitive detection circuit being connected with the sensor electrode via a signal line 12. The sensor electrode is bonded from the back face of each floor plate 30 constituting a floor to the surface of a tongue and a groove of the floor plate. When detecting no living activities of the inhabitant within a determination time, the detector 13 outputs a notification request signal to the telephone communicator 20.
