    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new shape for a feces sampling tube for efficiently collecting feces in a wide range of conditions between soft feces having a relatively large moisture content and hard feces having a relatively small moisture content.
      SOLUTION: The feces sampling tube includes an approximately tubular container 10 having one open end 12 and a closed other end 11 and for housing a culture medium therein; a cap 20 detachably mounted to the open end of the container; and a feces sampling body 30 integrally fixed to the cap. A plurality of liens of recessed grooves 35 are spirally formed in the surface of the feces sampling tube in a direction tilted at a prescribed angle to an axial direction. It is thereby possible to efficiently sample and hold even hard feces in the recessed grooves by the linear insertion/extraction movements of the feces sampling tube in and from the feces.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homogenizing bag having a new structure capable of allowing a suspension to be readily sucked by vertically inserting a pipette from an opening part, even if the pipette is the short one. SOLUTION: This homogenizing bag usable for storing a food sample together with a diluting liquid and carrying out the homogenizing treatment thereof, has a filter 11 for partitioning the interior space of the bag 10 into a large space part 12 and a small space part 13. The food residue after the homogenizing treatment remains in the large space part 12 and the suspension is stored in the small space part 13 after passing the filter 11. The small space part 13 is liquid-tightly sealed over the whole width at an arbitrary height position, and a sump part 16 is formed at the upper part thereof. The liquid-tight seal can be formed into a nearly L-shaped composed of a horizontal seal part 14 and a vertical seal part 15 extended from the position at the vicinity of the edge part at the filter side so as to be nearly parallel to the filter. Incisions 21 and 22 for tearing the bag nearly in the horizontal direction are formed at the edge of the small space part side of the bag.
