摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower equipped with a noise damping device capable of generating vibration energy so as to cancel the noise in order to damp the noise generated at a lower tongue part. SOLUTION: This is a blower provided with an impeller 9 including blades, a discharge passage 19 for streaming and discharged by the rotation of the impeller 9, a tongue part 14 arranged in the discharge passage 19, and an exciter 27A fitted on the tongue part 14 and exciting the tongue part 14 by integral times of the blade passing frequency. It is preferable to have the tongue part 14 composed by including a stationary part and a vibrating part vibratory separated from the stationary part and the blower to have the exciter 27A fitted on the vibrating part. It is further preferable to have the exciter 27A fitted to the tongue crest and excite the tongue crest by the blade passing frequency and to have the exciter 27A fitted to the under surface of the tongue part 14 and excited the under surface of the tongue part 14 by the secondary blade passing frequency.
