Then the laser sensor receives reflected light which is reflected by an object. It is judged whether an object exists in the human-detection area 40 based on the light-sending/receiving results of the laser light by the laser sensor 9. The closing of the vehicle door 30 from a half-open state to a totally-closed state is prohibited based on the fact that the existence of the object is detected in the human-detection area 40.
