    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nano-tube yarn connection body capable of realizing a connection body having various types of shapes such as having a dimension longer than that of a conventional one, and surely connecting CNT yarns with each other, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a CNT yarn connection body 9, in which grown CNTs 7 respectively extended from both CNT yarns 3 to be connected with each other are entangled with each other, so that both CNT yarns 3 are connected with each other. Connecting the two CNT yarns 3 at one site or connecting a large number of CNT yarns 3 sequentially allows a very long CNT yarn connection body 9, for example several tens of km, to be achieved. The grown CNTs 7 extended from the respective CNT yarns 3 allow the CNT yarns 3 to be surely connected with each other, resulting in increased mechanical strength of the connection between the respective CNTs 3 and an excellent electrical property (conductivity).
