      SOLUTION: A U-turn flow for reversing a flow direction at the downside of a fan 16 is formed in an air conditioning case 15. A heat exchanger 20 is arranged at an inward portion of the U-turn flow in the air conditioning case 15, and a cold air passage 21 is arranged at an outward portion of the U-turn flow in the air conditioning case 15. Thus, warm air can flow along an outer-periphery surface of a fan casing 16b and cold air can flow along a rear side wall surface 15a of a vehicle of the air conditioning case 15 facing the outer-periphery surface of the fan casing 16b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing man-hours of a combustion device by adequately vaporizing fuel by a wick.
      SOLUTION: An air supply and exhaust interrupting member 125, a main combustion tube 122 and a sub-combustion tube 123 are superposed in the radial direction and welded. Thus, even when the tube part 122b and the bottom plate part 122c of the main combustion tube 122 are integrally formed, the air supply and exhaust interrupting member 125, the main combustion tube 122 and the sub-combustion tube 124 can be welded by holding them in the radial direction by welding electrodes. Since the tube 122b is integrally connected to the bottom plate 122c, fuel permeating into a wick 130 is heated by both the radiant heat of flame and heat transferred through the tube 122b and the bottom plate 122c. Accordingly, since the fuel held by the wick 130 can be effectively vaporized (evaporated), all the periphery welding of the bottom plate 122c and the tube 122b can be prevented to reduce the manufacturing cost of the combustion device and adequately vaporize the fuel by the wick 130.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce soot in combustion gas exhausted from a combustion device.
      SOLUTION: In the forward side of a moving direction of flame, partition plates 115 and 116 having a plurality of through holes 115a and 116a are provided. Thus, foreign materials such as 'soot' can be removed from the combustion gas by the partition plates 115 and 115.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fuel evaporated from a fuel vaporizing means from becoming much at the center of a combustion chamber and becoming a rich mixture, in a combustion heater used for heating or the like. SOLUTION: A combustion accelerating plate 26 is provided at a small interval before or behind a throttle opening 7a in the bulk head 7 between the first combustion chamber 11 and the second combustion chamber 14. The air for combustion is let flow in the direction of tangent into the first combustion chamber 11, whereupon the flow becomes weak at the center. Moreover, it becomes negative pressure by swirling flow at the center, so fuel evaporated from a fuel vaporizing means such as a wick q becomes much at the center. Accordingly, a rich mixture superabundant with fuel is formed at the center, and it combusts incompletely, without mixing with air enough, so exhaust emission property deteriorates. The combustion accelerating plate 26 deflects the rich mixture and lets it ride on a swirling flow, and besides it accelerates the combustion of the mixture because it is incandescent itself. In addition, a porous plate or the like having air-permeability may be used.
