    • PURPOSE:To control the intermittent discharge quantity of granular powder while holding the maximum solid-gas ratio, by supplying the primary gas and the secondary gas in the vicinity of an exhaust nozzle and a transport pipe, respectively and controlling the quantity of the primary gas in case of discharging granular powder from the exhaust nozzle connected to the transport pipe onto a fluid bed. CONSTITUTION:Granular powder is discharged onto a fluid bed 2 from a press-feeding container where an exhaust nozzle 3 connected to a transport pipe 6 is opened. In this case, a booster supply pipe 12 is divided into the secondary pipe 12a and the primary pipe 12b, the secondary pipe 12a being connected to a transport pipe 6, the primary pipe 12b being connected to an exhaust pipe 4 near the exhaust nozzle 3. A part Q3 of booster gas is supplied in order to lower the mixing ratio and pressure loss in the exhaust pipe 4 so that the discharge quantity of granular powder is increased, and Q3 is controlled to regulate the discharge quantity. A valve 15 for controlling the secondary booster quantity Q4 is operated in such a manner as to set up the optimum solid-gas ratio Mc determined in relation to the length of the transport pipe 6. The primary booster quantity Q3 is controlled within 5 to 50% to the total gas quantity Q2 of the booster by a control valve 14.

    • PURPOSE: To secure accurate distribution even when the supply terminal pressure and supply amout have canged, by giving a pressurization tank a set internal pressure, whose value is determined from the mean values of supply terminal pressures, rates of gas flow in boosters and supply amounts of the fluid to carry the pulverized material to supply terminals, the last two being specified previously.
      CONSTITUTION: An arithmetic unit 38 determines the pressure of a pressurization tank 1 from the mean values of supply terminal pressures, rates of booster gas flow and supply amounts of the pulverized/granular material, and the result of this operation is fed into an adding device 33 together with an output signal from an adjusting device 30 for the cut-out amount of pulverized/granular material, so as to have control of a pressure regulator valve 6 provided in the pressurization line 9. Accordingly the pressure in the tank 1 is controlled by reference to the proper setting signal for pressure in the tank 1 in accordance with the pressure change at the supply terminals 5AW5C, and this setting signal undergoes a correction on the basis of adjustment setting signal and the sum of the preset rates of flow of the pulverized/granular material supplied to the supply terminals 5AW5C. This makes it possible, even in the event of pressure rise or fall of the supply terminals in the furnace, to have follow-up control to the pressure in the tank 1 as well as abberational correction on the basis of cut-out amount of the pulverized/ granular material.

At this adjusting device, when a feeding quantity to the feed end of a conveying pipe 5 is altered, the setting value of the discharge controller 14 is altered whereby a booser flow quantity is altered at once so that the feed quantity is as well altered.

Graular powder is fed through the discharge pipe 2 into the transport pipe 3 in pressure with the quantity of delivery controlled, by keeping the internal pressure of the tank constant to open the control valve 6.
