    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging-down greening material solving the following problem: it is hard to grow and maintain plants by a method including placing a planting part at the upper end part of a wall surface and making use of the lines of hanging-down plants to cover the wall surface from above because the plants even belonging to vine plants having aerial roots hardly develop the aerial roots and therefore unstably hang down over the wall surface, so that the plants swing due to strong wind, heavy rain, or the like at the high-rise part of the wall surface of a construction and the leaves or the stems of the plants are gustily flapped to be fallen or cut off.
      SOLUTION: The hanging-down greening material includes a fitting part (1) and a surrounding part (2) disposed on a plane (P2) at an angle with the plane (P1) of the fitting part (1). The fitting part (1) is prepared for fitting the material to a greened surface (G). The surrounding part (2) has a guiding area (21) at its outer part. The guiding area (21) is formed into a plane surface shape of the cross section of a funnel having a wide receiving port (22) and a narrow neck part (23). The inside of the surrounding part (2) is communicating with the leading area (21).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening system for growing plants in valley portions etc. of a slanting corrugated roof, wherein the greening system is implemented by employing planting packs, to thereby produce the greening system at a low cost and facilitate handling and maintenance of the system, and to provide the planting pack per se.
      SOLUTION: The greening system 1 for the slanting corrugated roof is implemented by arranging the planting packs 4 in the valley portions 3 of the corrugated roof 2. Each planting pack is formed of a planting container 5 conforming to the valley portion 3 of the corrugated roof 2, a watering member 8 arranged on a bottom 7 of the container to allow rainwater to penetrate the interior of the planting container 5 to guide rainwater downward and feed water to potting compost 6, and a water permeable sheet 9 arranged under the potting compost 6 in a manner covering the watering member 8. Then the plurality of planting packs 4 thus formed are serially arranged in the valley 3 of the corrugated roof 2 in an inclining direction, or arranged in the valley portions 3 at predetermined intervals. Further a culture panel is set across a ridge portion 11 between the planting packs 4 in order to grow plants.
