SOLUTION: The wrapping tool comprises an openable and closable hollow rotational body 12 freely rotationally movable by an insulation operation rod 2; a mounting shaft 24 of an insulating tape 33 attached on one side external surface of the hollow rotational body 12 via a swingable attaching arm 21; and a guide roller 27 attached to the attaching arm 21 so that it should be interposed between the attaching shaft 24 and the hollow rotational body 12. A forcing member 23 for always forcing in the rotary winding direction of the hollow rotational body 12 so as to give back tension to the insulating tape 33 is provided at the attaching arm 21.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping tool for electric wires, capable of stably and reliably stripping a finned electric wire such as snow accretion resistant wire, and also an ordinary non-finned wire.SOLUTION: The stripping tool includes a cutting tool holder 6 formed into a cylindrical shape by coupling a pair of substantially half cylindrical cutting tool holder members 12a, 12b so that a finned electric wire 18 is inserted thereinto and an operation shaft 1 for rotationally operating the cutting tool holder 6 to a predetermined direction through a power transmission means 3. A cutting blade 15 is attached to one cutting tool holder member 12a so that it is protruded inward. An abutment plate 17 having an arc-shaped inner circumferential surface is attached to the inner surface of the other cutting tool holder member 12b in correspondence with the cutting blade 15 so that it is protruded inward. The abutment plate 17 is inclined in the direction of the axial line of the cutting tool holder member 12b and its inside diameter is so set that it is equal to the outside diameter of the coated part of the finned electric wire 18 and its inward protrusion length L is so set that it is equal to the height H of the fin.
