摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color filter which can efficiently form a colored layer having high flatness.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a color filter comprises: an ink jet process for forming an undried colored layer 3a by applying, using an ink jet method, a coating liquid for colored layer formation to openings of a black matrix substrate 10a having a transparent substrate 1 and a light shading portion 2 formed on the transparent substrate and provided with the openings; a vacuum drying process for forming a substrate 10b for a color filter in which a dried colored layer 3b is formed by vacuum drying the undried colored layer 3a; and a baking process for obtaining a color filter 10 formed with a colored layer by performing pre-baking treatment of the substrate 10b for a color filter and then performing post-baking treatment thereof. In the vacuum drying process, the undried colored layer 3a is vacuum dried so that the film thickness of the end of the dried colored layer 3b does not become thinner than that of the light shading portion 2.
