When observed from the front direction, the optical film is positioned so that an orientation axis of the optical anisotropic film with respect to an in-plane phase difference Re at the wavelength of 550 nm intersects a transmission axis Aa of the lower polarization plate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet provided with relief which has excellent stability and is difficult to scratch, an active-energy-ray-curable resin composition for optical members which is suitable for forming the relief, and a surface light source device and a liquid crystal display device employing the optical sheet.SOLUTION: The optical sheet includes a transparent base material and an optical function exhibition part which is provided on one surface side of the transparent base material and has relief having a plurality of unit relief structures on the side opposite to the transparent base material.
