    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass lens polishing method which enables the polishing of a glass lens without degradation of its fixing function at the time of polishing the glass lens even if the surface of the lens has been subjected to antifouling treatment.
      SOLUTION: The glass lens polishing method is carried out by pinching the glass lens by means of fixing sections arranged at tips of two fixing chucks, fixing the same to a polishing apparatus, and then polishing peripheral portions of the lens. According to the method, the fixing section of at least one of the fixing chucks has adsorptive activity or adherence and a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is interposed between the fixing section and the surface of the glass lens. The fixing section having the adsorptive activity or adherence may be formed of a sucker section or an adhesive section. It is preferable that a surface area of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet placed on the glass lens is larger than the surface area of the fixing section of the fixing chuck, adsorbed to or adhering to the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a tag for cleaning which may be sufficiently imparted with necessary additional information, etc., according to a need for waterproofing, stain removing, etc., and is capable of dealing with cleaning of both systems of dry type and laundry type with the same tag while allowing cleaning management to mount the tag to wash by sticking the tag in an annular form via a tacky adhesive layer to the wash. CONSTITUTION: This tag for cleaning consists of a base tag 1 formed by imparting patterns to a tag base material having the tacky adhesive layer on one side of a sheet and an auxiliary tag 2 formed by imparting patterns to a tag base material consisting of a sheet. The base tag is mounted like a chain to part of the wash 6 by a system to stick the tag via the tacky adhesive layer held by this tag and the auxiliary tag is mounted to this chain-like base tag via the tacky adhesive layer held by the tag or by means of staples. The efficient management of the wash is possible and the management, etc., of the wash utilizing a POS system are easily executable. The occasional entry of the necessary information on the tag on the shop is possible and the transmittability of the information is excellent. The efficient execution of the cleaning processing is assured as well.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a label which is soft, can be imparted patterns to at need and can fix patterns having excellent hiding power as well as reflectivity, weatherability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, etc., to an adherend by low-temp. heating. CONSTITUTION:This label base material 1 is constituted by forming an inorg. powder with a silicone-based resin into a sheet form. The label is formed by imparting a pattern layer 2 by proper melted to such sheet. The label base material and label are soft, have good adhesion to a curved surface and to which the patterns and identification forms, etc., can be imparted, by an engraving system, blanking system or adequate printing system, such as thermal transfer printer or screen printing as and when desired. On the other hand, the label base material and label are made rigid while the patterns and forms imparted thereto are well maintained by the label material and ink formed by using the silicone resin without generating the problem of carbonization by the low- temp. heating to cure the silicone-based resin. The label is thus fixed to the adherend 4 under tentative adhesion.
