    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclusion measuring instrument which measures quickly and easily an inclusion in a molten aluminum with excellent reproducibility, and is usable for process control in a production field. SOLUTION: A friction coefficient is low in an inner face of a crucible 26 and the inner face of the crucible 26 has an excellent mold releasing property, because a mold release layer 40 of high heat resistance is formed at least in the inner face of the crucible 26.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting aluminum alloy by which seizure between an aluminum alloy and a metal mold at casting can be prevented and which has excellent proof stress and elongation even in the case where Mn and Fe contents are increased and also to provide an aluminum-alloy casting having high toughness which is cast using the alloy. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 4.0 to 6.5% Si, 0.4 to 1.2% Mg, 0.3 to 1.1% Mn, ≤0.7% Fe and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.
