摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a continuous use of an apparatus for purifying sewage with soil, by effectively preventing clogging in the apparatus.
SOLUTION: In the purification apparatus, an upper water sprinkling pipe is arranged in the top part of a purification bed of the apparatus, and an upper aeration pipe is arranged under the water sprinkling pipe and in the upper part of the purification bed. A lower water sprinkling pipe is arranged under the upper aeration pipe, and a lower aeration pipe is arranged under the lower water sprinkling pipe. When one water sprinkling pipe is clogged and the amount of penetrated water is reduced, switching to the other water sprinking pipe is performed to carry out continuous operation. The clogging of the shut-down water sprinkling pipe is eliminated by aerobic decomposition with the help of aeration from the aeration pipe.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating sewage or waste water, in each of which nitrogen can be removed in high efficiency regardless of the state of nitrogen whether it is organic nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen or nitrate nitrogen, phosphoric acid can be removed in high efficiency without adding an aluminum pack or a chemical such as chlorine and each of which can cope with a large quantity of water to be made to pass therethrough. SOLUTION: A molding for denitrifying/dephosphorizing is obtained by adding a binder to a mixture of particles of metal iron or iron powder with an organic material and molding the binder-added mixture. The subject method for denitrifying/dephosphorizing sewage or waste water comprises the steps of: packing a single body of the denitrifying/dephosphorizing molding or a mixture of the denitrifying/dephosphorizing molding with a water-passable material in a denitrifying/dephosphorizing tank; and supplying sewage or waste water to the denitrifying/dephosphorizing tank in such a state that the denitrifying/dephosphorizing tank is filled or unfilled with water. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic manure including humified matter of good quality by heating and drying organic wastes, such as organic sludge, garbage, and livestock feces, then heat treating the organic wastes, thereby rapidly and effective progressing humification. SOLUTION: The humification of the treated objects is sufficiently progressed by holding the objects for 2 to 40 hours at 150 to 250°C in a heat treatment process after heating and drying. The heat treatment temperature and time for the humification can be lowered and shortened by adding inorganic catalysts, such as volcanic ash, pumice powder, aluminum oxide, iron oxide, kaolinite, and acidic clay to the organic wastes.
