摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a roll which is high in its use efficiency, and is inexpensive, by bend-forming like a ring a flat square material or a profile, and fitting it to a base material being an inside roll. CONSTITUTION:A flat square material 1 of die steel is bend-formed like a ring by a roll 2, and thereafter, its both ends are joined by flash butt welding 3, by which a ring 4 is formed. This ring 4 is used as an outside ring roll of a necessary part and is fitted to a base material 5 being an inside roll. In this way, as for the ring 4 which is welded after bend-working the flat square material 1, its shaving amount is small, therefore, the use yield is extremely high, and also the working expense is low.
