      SOLUTION: In a transmission unit 1, a phase shift circuit 7 shifts an input signal phase input into a second transmission circuit 5 by a predetermined angle (60°) against the input signal phase input into a first transmission circuit 4. A transformer 6 includes a coil provided on the input side for inputting an alternating power signal being output from the first transmission circuit 4; a coil provided on the input side for inputting an alternating power signal output from the second transmission circuit 5; and a single coil provided on the output side corresponding to the above two coils on the input side. The number of windings in each coil is formed to be identical.

Thereafter, an equalization circuit 70 equalizes the cell voltages of the cells 11 stored in the storage unit 90 (step 140). Equalization is performed until a predetermined set time elapses.

      SOLUTION: A second capacitor (C2) is connected in parallel to a serial circuit connecting a first capacitor (C1) in series to a loop antenna (2), thereby configuring a loop antenna circuit (1) with both terminals of the second capacitor as signal input and output terminals (3, 4). A transmitting circuit (7) and a receiving circuit (8) are connected in parallel to the input and output terminals. A circuit constant of the loop antenna circuit is determined to incur serial resonance at a transmitting frequency and to incur parallel resonance at a receiving frequency.

The maximum amplitude of the rectangular wave signal appearing at an output terminal of the half-bridge circuit 8 is adjusted by an amplitude control circuit 13. By cutting a direct-current component of the rectangular wave signal using a capacitor 14, and filtering by use of a low pass filter 15, a sinusoidal signal having no offset component is output.
