摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of decreasing the unnecessary electromagnetic noise which the coils on IC card receive at the same time make its Q factor adjustable without modifying the shapes and the likes of the coil. SOLUTION: The IC card 1 of this invention comprises coil 5 and electric parts 7 on the film substrate 2, wherein unnecessary electromagnetic noise absorption part 8 is applied on the coil 5 via insulating part 9. In this case unnecessary electromagnetic noise is absorbed by unnecessary electromagnetic noise absorbing part 8, which reduce the unnecessary electromagnetic noise the coil 5 on the IC card 1 receives, and its Q factor is adjusted without modifying the shapes and the likes of the coil 5.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable printing state free from disconnection or short circuit when forming a coil and a circuit pattern which connects the coil to an IC chip, on a circuit sheet by screen printing with respect to an IC card. SOLUTION: When a line is perpendicular to the moving direction of a squeegee, parts protruding from the edge of the line like whiskers occur; and when plural lines exist with small gaps between them, lines may be short-circuited by these protruding parts. When a thin line is perpendicular to the moving direction of the squeegee, the narrow line becomes blurred to apt to fall into a disconnected stat. In order to resolve these problems, IC chip mounting lines 19a, 20a, 21a, and 21b which are the thinnest lines of turn lines of a coil 15 and circuit patterns 17 and 18 are determined so as to be in the same direction as the moving direction of the squeegee, and the coil 15 is made elliptic so that turn lines 15a may not inside lines perpendicular to the moving direction of the squeegee.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax restrictions on design of a coil for antenna with respect to a contactless IC card. SOLUTION: The coil for antenna constitutes a resonance circuit with a capacitor which an IC chip has. The coil is provided with a correction capacitor 12 in order to control the resonance frequency of this resonance circuit to a desired frequency. A pair of electrode parts 13 and 14 facing each other with an insulating layer 9 between them are formed in both end parts 7 and 8 of the coil to constitute the correction capacitor 12, and the area where both electrode parts 13 and 14 face each other is changed to change the electrostatic capacity of the correction capacitor 12, in its turn, the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an IC chip from being broken even if static electricity is applied to an external terminal connected to the IC chip. SOLUTION: The IC card 1 has an IC chip 2 and a coiled antenna 3 inside and communicates with a reader-writer through the antenna 3. Further, the IC card 1 is provided with the external terminal 11 and the IC chip 2 is able to communicate with the reader-writer even through the external terminal 11. The external terminal 11 and IC chip 2 are connected toy a protection resistance part 10 made of carbon paste. Therefore, when static electricity is applied to the external terminal 11, the protection resistance part 10 suppresses current, so the IC chip 2 is prevented from being broken.
