摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aq. emulsion contg. fine particles of a cross-linked allyl copolymer and having excellent film-forming properties even when diallyl phthalate is substantially completely polymerized. SOLUTION: An emulsion composition comprising an aq. emulsion contg. fine particles of a cross-linked allyl copolymer having a rate of polymn. of diallyl phthalate of least 85% and an average particle diameter of not larger than 200nm, which is obtained by emulsion copolymn. of a 1-8C acrylic ester and which comprises 10 to 40wt.% diallyl phthalate, 0.1 to less than 5wt.% α,β-unsatd. carboxylic acid and the balance of an alcohol, and a cross-linking agent.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based manicure that is excellent in coating layer- formed properties and improved in its hardness, mechanical abrasion, gloss and the like by using a water-based emulsion containing fine particles of a specific acrylic cross-linked copolymer. SOLUTION: (i) 10-80wt.% of a (meth)allyl ester of a 8-12C aromatic carboxylic acid bearing di-or more carboxyl groups. for example, o-di(meth)allyl phthalate, (ii) 0.1-15wt.% of a hydrophilic functional group-bearing 3-15C vinyl monomer, for example, acrylic acid and (iii) the rest amount of a 4-15C acrylic ester such as ethyl acerylate are subjected to emulsion copolymerization in the presence of an emulsifier and a polymerization initiator in a reaction medium of water to prepare an aqueous emulsion (A) with an average particle size of 0.02-0.2μm. The objective water-based manicure is prepared by formulating (A) the aqueous emulsion in an amount of 5-60wt.% of the solid basis and (B), when necessary, pigment, inorganic dispersant, film-forming auxiliary and the like.
