SOLUTION: The data indicating whether the specified quality of the material such as wood as an object to be noticed, is used in an individual component (a ceiling face material, a wall face material, etc.), a design as an object to be classified, is inputted to a quality of material inputting part 10. A parameter determining part 20 determines a first parameter value indicating whether the wood is mainly utilized as a face material or utilized as a linear material, and a second parameter value indicating whether the wood is totally utilized or partially utilized, on the basis of the input data. A position determining part 30 prepares a two-dimensional parameter map by applying one of two parameters as the axis of abscissas and the other parameter as the axis of ordinates, and the design as the object to be classified is classified on the basis of the parameter values on the map.

This map is presented to a user to analyze the user's preference.

SOLUTION: The decorative material is prepared by sticking a decorative sheet S having a linear groove-shaped pattern on the surface of an adherend base B having the linear groove-shaped recess in the surface. The groove-shaped pattern of the decorative sheet S is 30 constituted that it is shaped like a linear strip corresponding to the groove-shaped recess of the adherend base B and is formed of the opposite lateral side parts having a relatively high density and the central part held between the opposite lateral side parts and having a relatively low density and that it is tuned in a position with the groove-shaped recess of the adherend base B and the outermost end part of each lateral side part thereof is positioned inside the outermost and part of each lateral side part of the groove-shaped recess. The decorative material has in the surface the groove-shaped recess recognized excellently by both the senses of sight and touch and is excellent in the design of external appearance. Even when a positional slippage (registering error) of the decorative sheet from the adherend base occurs in sticking, no sense of incompatibility is aroused visually.
