The partition member has a pair of plate holding parts 41, 42 for holding the photographic paper roll at both ends in the axial direction, and a plate jointing part 43 for connecting the holding parts to each other. The jointing part partitions the inside of the storage box in the radial direction of the photographic paper roll into first and second storage areas, in which the photographic paper roll and the ink ribbon unit are respectively arranged, and extends in an inclined manner from the axial direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which can cope with an increase in printing speed in the thermal transfer, can meet demands for the provision of thermally transferred images having high density and high quality, can prevent the occurrence of abnormal transfer, cockles, etc. even in high-temperature and high-humidity environments and can improve sensitivity in transfer at the time of printing. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet has a heat resistant slip layer on one surface and an adhesive layer and a dye layer on the other surface of a basic material, formed in this order. The adhesive layer contains a modified polyvinylpyrrolidone resin in an amount of 10-50% on a solid basis of the whole adhesive layer. The point that plyvinylpyrrolidone resin has a high hygroscopicity and a low humidity resistance is compensated for by the point that modified polyvinylpyrrolidone resin produced by copolymerizing with polymers such as vinyl acetate or styrene has a moisture resistance of the adhesive layer, so that the adhesion between the dye layer and the basic material can be enhanced even in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, thereby preventing abnormal transfers and the like.
