摘要： PURPOSE:To surely fasten an outer column part onto an inner column part, by a method wherein the inner column part, on which opposite walls, right and left slots are symmetrically formed, respectively, is inserted into the outer column part, a fastener-catching member, on which wall recesses and projections are alternately formed, is inserted into the inner column part, and other recesses and projections on a fastener are separately fitted into those on the fastener-catching members by handling a vertically-adjusting knob. CONSTITUTION:An inner column part 3, on which opposite walls, slots 4, 4 are respectively formed facing each other, is inserted into an outer column 1 and a fastener-catching member 5 is inserted into the inner column par 3. The fastener-catching member 5 has a U-shaped section, and recesses 7 are projections 8 are alternately formed on a side wall 6 thereof and the right and left sides of the side wall 6 are bent at a right angle thereto. A slot 9 opposed to the slot 4 is formed on the side wall 6. A fastener 10, on which recesses 12 and projections 13 are formed, is fitted in the fastener-catching member 5 and is connected to a vertically-adjusting knob 24 through the slots 4, 9. By this formation, the recesses 7, 12 and the projections 8, 13 are fitted to each other and the inner column part 3 is pulled to the side of the knob 24 and is fastened to the outer column part 1, when the fastener 10 is shifted toward the knob 24 with the vertically-adjusting knob 24.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily and surely adjust the height of a desk and the like by providing respective irregular and inclined adjusting parts slidable to each other and by fixing a recessed portion of the inclined adjusting part by pressing with a press piece. CONSTITUTION:An inside adjusting body (a) is provided on the front wall face 2 of an inside frame body 1 having a U-shaped section with an irregular adjusting part 5 which has an alternately and repetitiously concave and projecting portions 3, 4, and an adjusting port 6 whose surface is also alternately concave and projecting repetitiously are attached symmetrically from the front wall face to the left and right side wall faces 8, 9. A press body 20 having a female screw 19 engaging threadingly a male screw 16 provided on the outside of a shaft 13 having on one end an inserting hole 14 and press pieces 20 attached to the outside for pressing the inclined adjusting part is threaded onto the shaft 13. A ball 18 inserted in the concave portions 4 of the adjusting part is fitted in an end of a spring 17 inserted in the inserting hole of the shaft. The upper portion of the shaft is adapted to project from the outside frame body 9 inserted in the inside frame body to secure the shaft fixedly to the outside frame body 9 through a screw 12. A knob 2 for adjusting the pivoting of the shaft is attached to the head of the projecting shaft, so that the height of a desk and a chair can be easily and rapidly adjusted.
