    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode structure of a lithium-ion battery, which can impart a large capacity intrinsic to a negative electrode active material and higher cycle characteristics, and to provide its manufacturing method, in the lithium-ion battery using the negative electrode active material composed of a Si-based material. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes: a thermal spray wire preparation step of preparing a thermal spraying wire in which inside a tubular body composed of a lithium active material or an alloy to contain the lithium active material, Si powder is filled; a step of turning a continuous combustion flame formed by pressurizing and firing a combustion gas to a substrate, and of supplying the thermal spraying wire in parallel with a direction in which the continuous combustion flame is extended; and a step of spraying and accumulating molten particles of the thermal spraying wire on the substrate. Thus, a distinctive texture in which sub-micron order fine spherical Si particulates are surrounded and aggregated like a dendrite by the lithium active material or the alloy containing the lithium active material is obtained.
