    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing suspended matter, by which the suspended matter staying on the surface layer of a predetermined water area can be flown smoothly toward a suction port and the efficiency of which when the suspended matter is sucked can be improved.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for removing suspended matter is provided with: a first floating body 2; a second floating body 3 connected to the first floating body; the suction port 35 of a sucking member 34 arranged on the second floating body 3; a second float 41 arranged on the second floating body 3; and a first float 21 arranged on the first floating body 2. The suction port 35, the second float 41 and the first float 21 are aligned horizontally in this order on the surface layer of the predetermined water area and the second floating body 3 is arranged to be moved separately and independently of the first floating body 2 in a preset area. A connection means 51 is arranged which is hung between the first float 21 and the second float 41 and by which the surface layer area between the first float 21 and the second float 41 is divided from the surface layer area of the outside and blocked.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbid material removing device which can always locate an intake port in a surface layer where a turbid material is stagnant at high concentrations.
      SOLUTION: The turbid material removing device has a first floating body floating in a predetermined water area, and a second floating body movably floating in the predetermined water area independently from the first floating body. The first floating body 2 is provided with a pump, and the second floating body 3 is provided with an intake member 34 having an intake port 35 formed at a location that opens toward the surface layer in the predetermined water area. An interval between the intake member 34 and the pump 17 is connected by a suction hose S1 with flexibility so as to allow the movement of the second floating body 3 with respect to the first floating body 2, and the pump 17 has a discharge hose S2 connected thereto which communicates with the outside of the predetermined water area. Then the turbid material flowing from the intake port 35 into the intake member 34 together with water is introduced via the suction hose S1 to the pump 17 together with the water, and discharged via the discharge hose S2 to the outside of the predetermined water area by the pump 17.
