The coal-gasified gas is subjected to adiabatic expansion by driving the expansion turbine 16, and the pressure and the temperature of the coal-gasified gas are lowered to the nearly same pressure and the temperature of the blast-furnace, and the coal-gasified gas is supplied as a complementary fuel to the carburation blast-furnace gas-burning type gas turbine combined power generation facility 5 and/or the steam power generation facility 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively using surplus BOG, which allows further effective use of surplus BOG generated from an LNG receiving station, compared with in the past.
      SOLUTION: Surplus BOG delivered from the LNG receiving station is supplied to each of a gas turbine-combined power generation facility 3, steam power generation facilities 5a, 5b and a gas hydrate production facility 7 of an iron mill by-product gas power plant 1 to effectively utilize BOG as complementary fuel of both the power generation facilities.
