    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely improve the yield strength of an existing member by fitting a reinforcing material to an existing material without a bolt even when the existing member has an attachment such as a step bolt and also by surely fixing the reinforcing material to the existing member regardless of coating or zinc plating in reinforcing the existing member of a truss structure such as a steel tower with a reinforcing material. SOLUTION: A reinforcing steel material 3 as a reinforcing material is attached to an angle steel existing member 1 so that the opening ends of a pair of flanges 1a, 1a of the member 1 are closed to form a closed section, and a high-strength fiber sheet 4 made of polyester fiber or carbon fiber is wound round the outer surface of the angle steel existing member 1 and the outer surface of the reinforcing steel material 3 while being bonded thereto with an adhesive, thereby fixing the angle steel existing member 1 and the reinforcing steel material 3. When compressive force is applied to a post material, the compressive force is not applied directly to the reinforcing material 3, but the reinforcing material 3 acts as a stiffener to restrain buckling so that yield strength can be improved.
