    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crucible from being tilted during tilting of a furnace body and prevent a crucible stand from being displaced in a tilting direction.SOLUTION: A tilting crucible furnace includes: the crucible 4 holding molten metal A inside and having a pouring opening for discharging the molten metal in an upper part; the furnace body 2 receiving the crucible 4 inside; the crucible stand 6 having a lower face 61 laid on the bottom 2A of the furnace body 2 and an upper face 62 on which the crucible 4 is laid; and a support supporting the furnace body 2 and capable of tilting the furnace body 2 so that the molten metal inside the crucible 4 is discharged from the pouring opening. Between a furnace wall 2A of the furnace body 2 and the crucible stand 6, a displacement prevention member 8 is interposed for preventing movement of the crucible stand 6 in the tilting direction with an end face colliding with a furnace wall 2B when the furnace body 2 is tilted. There is provided, on the crucible stand 6, a stopper 9 projecting from the upper face 62 of the crucible stand and contacting with an outer peripheral face of a lower part of the crucible 4 for receiving and supporting the outer peripheral face of the lower part of the crucible 4 when the furnace body 2 is tilted.
