    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current collector for railway vehicle, which will not require larger sizes in both of the operating range of its current collecting shoe and a ramp height, while it enables loading of the current collector onto a steering truck.SOLUTION: The current collector for railway vehicle 16 is to bring the current collecting shoe into contact with a third rail for introducing electricity into the railway vehicle. With an axle spring 13 interposed between this current collector 16 and a railway truck frame 12, the current collector is loaded on one of axle boxes 11 supported by a supporting member 14 so as to allow relative displacement with the truck frame 12 through a rubber cushion 17 with an elastic modulus in a vertical direction smaller than any elastic modulus in other directions except the vertical one. Even if this current collector is loaded on such a steering truck as an interval between the front and behind axle boxes significantly vary in a curved section, neither operating range of the current collecting shoe nor ramp height range needs to be ensured wider because the current collector can be retained in the axle box.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional system that it takes much time to read a ledger sheet for salary deposit or the like carried into a bank or the like from a company, an autonomous community, etc. from an image input device and form ledger definition data for image cutting-out or character recognition of the read image data.
      SOLUTION: In this system, lines 41 and 61 are designated as a reference line, in the ledger sheet formed by repeat of lines (or, often rows) of the same form shown in Figs. 4 and 6, to form ledger definition data (32 and 33 of Fig. 3) such as a cutout recognition range or character recognition method of reference line. A whole repeat range 51 of reference line including the reference line 41 is designated as shown in Fig. 5, and a repeated line number lines 52 is further designated. The whole repeat range 51 of the reference line 41 is equally divided by the repeated line number 52, and copying of a ledger definition data item of the reference line 41 is executed according to this designated range.
